Minister takes the cake

Health Minister Tony Ryall and Emily Cotton At Healthline

We were thrilled to join the Health Minister Tony Ryall and the Medibank team to celebrate the 2.5 millionth Healthline call this month. The Minister visited the Healthline offices and presented flowers to Frith Walker who took the 2.5 millionth call.

Healthline General Manager Davis Lemke welcomed the Health Minister to the celebration although the show was most definitely stolen by Emily Cotton, a young girl whose life was saved by the Healthline service. She delighted staff, guests and media with her great appreciation for the cake – before and after she cut it with the Minister.

Well done to all at Healthline on 11 years of great service. It's great to be part of your story.

It’s time to get the girls out. At least that’s the latest message in the refreshed BreastScreen Aotearoa campaign coming from the National Screening Unit.

Kick Start For GSL Media

We also welcome Lydia Gommans to our media team.  Lydia is no stranger to GSL having helped us out several times in 2011 on different projects.

She is a highly talented young person – not only does Lydia have a Bachelor's in Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management and a Graduate Diploma in Philosophy but she is also a South Island Muay Thai Kickboxing champion.  Definitely one to watch!
